Introduction:

Direct response marketing is a type of marketing that need the consumer to respond to the ad immediately. For example, we can see ads in papers or magazines that ask for the reader to text to a certain number or to email so a certain address in order to get the product.

Direct response marketing ad calls for an immediate action, as oppose to other types of advertisement which are advertised to create awareness or to promote certain brand.

In the Quran and the tradition of the Prophet (the peace and blessing be upon him), we can see this kind of -if we can put it this way – direct response marketing in action.

There are many narrations that tell us ‘If you want heaven, do this and that’ and from the history, we can surely see the companions are competing among themselves to be among the ones who are granted heaven.

——————
